Please Note: Due to limited capacity, certain countries will be limited to the number of attendees that can register. The 200 LMIC registration places are reserved for travel bursary participants and those from low-income countries. However these places are prioritised for travel bursary participants first. If places are still available once allocated to travel bursary recipients then the LMIC registrations will become available again. A max of 400 registrations for Domestic attendees (Australia) are available, however once this capacity is reached there will be no further spots available. The Organising Committee advise that you register early before it is too late.
Payment of registration fees must accompany all registrations. No registration will be confirmed until payment is received. Payment can be made by the following methods:
If you are making a credit card payment from a country outside Australia, for security reasons you must first advise your banking institution of the impending charge and authorise them to allow the charge to Australia to go through. Cancellations must be notified in writing (e-mail is sufficient) to the Conference Secretariat. Cancellations made by Thursday 18 April 2019 will result in a full refund less $100 for full/student delegates and $50 for low/middle income delegates to cover administration costs. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person by Thursday 18 April 2019 without incurring any cost penalty. Refunds for cancellations received after 18 April 2019 will be made in exceptional circumstances. The Conference Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers. There will be no cancellation allowance for failure to secure a visa to Australia. The organising committee reserves final decision on a case by case basis for granting a cancellation in extenuating circumstances. It is recommended that travel insurance be secured personally upon registration.
All best endeavours will be made to present the program as printed on this website. The Conference and its agents reserve the right to alter without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the meeting, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. The Organising Committee and the Conference Organisers are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Organising Committee and the Conference Organisers do not accept responsibility for loss of monies caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions. The Conference does not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings or theft or damage to belongings.
